This 10-day tour of South Africa is the perfect way to experience the country’s rich culture, history, and natural beauty. Start in Cape Town, one of the most beautiful cities in the world. From there, travel to Mpumalanga, home to the Kruger National Park, one of the best places in the world to see wildlife. In Mpumalanga, you’ll visit the Blyde River Canyon, one of the largest canyons in the world, and the Kruger National Park, where you’ll go on game drives to see lions, elephants, rhinoceroses, and other animals.
The tour then continues to the Makalali Private Game Reserve, a malaria-free reserve where you’ll have the chance to see even more wildlife in a more intimate setting. In Makalali, you’ll go on game drives, bush walks, and cultural experiences.
This is an unforgettable tour that will take you to some of the most iconic destinations in South Africa.
Arrival in Cape Town and transfer to the hotel. Transfer service included. In the afternoon, an orientation tour of the city on the City Sightseeing Red Bus (the Red Coach) https://www.citysightseeing.co.za/cape-town, and weather permitting, a visit to Table Mountain (officially considered the seventh wonder of the world). A revolving cable car connects the base to the summit every 30 minutes. Upon reaching the top, you can admire the beautiful panorama of Table Bay and the city. * Red Bus ticket (cost R 160) and cable car ticket (cost Rand 310 per person) to be purchased on-site. Hotel: LA SPLENDIDA HOTEL 3*** Superior Room type: Standard Double – Overnight stays include: Breakfast
Pick up the car at the AVIS office in the city and depart to explore the Cape of Good Hope peninsula. Hout Bay, Seal Island (the seal island), Cape Point (the southernmost point of Africa where the Indian Ocean and Atlantic Ocean ideally meet), the colony of adorable "Jack Ass" penguins at Boulders Beach, and the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens are among the main attractions of the day.
After breakfast, depart to explore the romantic and picturesque Cape Winelands of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Besides admiring the charming scenery, you can also visit various wineries and taste excellent locally produced wines.
A day at your disposal to visit the fabulous beaches of Cape Town or explore the city center and visit the Bo Kaap neighborhood with its small mosques and buildings dating back to the Dutch occupation period. Nearby is also the South African Museum of Ethnography and Natural History. The museum overlooks the "Company Gardens" public garden, which was the first vegetable garden built by the Dutch East India Company to supply passing ships and is now a beautiful garden where you can walk among centuries-old trees and squirrels. The Parliament House also overlooks the garden. For those who want a day of complete relaxation, we recommend the fabulous beaches of Camps Bay or Clifton.
Early morning transfer to the airport, car drop-off, and departure by scheduled flight to Johannesburg. Arrival in Johannesburg, car pick-up at the AVIS office at the airport, and departure for Hazyview. The distance between Johannesburg and Hazyview is 400km, and the journey takes almost 5 hours. Hotel: UMBHABA LODGE 3* Room type: Standard Double – Overnight stays include: Breakfast

The journey was very pleasant and even exceeded our expectations. The proposed accommodations were all very nice, with the ***** game reserve surpassing every expectation in terms of lodging, food, and safari ranger.
