Itinerary

Arrival at Victoria Falls, customs formalities (visa available at the airport, cost €55), and transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon, transfer to the pier for a mini cruise on the Zambezi River, where you can admire the first of the wonderful African sunsets of your trip. After the cruise, transfer to your hotel and dinner (not included).

After breakfast (ask at reception for the exact departure time), meet your local English-speaking guide and depart for a guided tour of the falls to see the world's highest waterfalls up close, with the highest point reaching over 100 meters. After visiting the falls, you'll stop for lunch at the Lookout Restaurant, a spectacularly located restaurant with unobstructed views of the falls! *Lunch fee not included, payable on site. *Washington Falls entrance fee of USD 50 per person not included, payable on site.   With the ranger, you'll set off towards Chobe National Park to reach your mobile camp. Along the way, you'll admire the variety and abundance of vegetation in this part of Botswana.   Chobe National Park takes its name from the Chobe River, which in this stretch forms the natural and political border between Botswana and Namibia. Established in 1967, it covers an area of 10,689 km2, about half the size of Lombardy. The park is renowned for having the highest concentration of elephants on the African continent.

After breakfast, we depart for a full-day safari and transfer that takes us to the southwest side of Chobe, in the Savuti area. While you're busy with a full day of safari and Big 5 hunting, your mobile safari camp will move to the Savuti area, the destination of this leg of your journey. We'll travel through the beautiful slopes along the Chobe River, where you can admire herds of buffalo, elephant, and various antelopes congregating on the riverbank.   Both Savuti and Moremi are home to the Big 5: buffalo, elephant, lion, leopard, and rhino. The name Big 5 dates back to the late 19th century, when European and American explorers created a category for the most dangerous animals to hunt in Africa.

A full day dedicated to exploring Savuti. After the morning safari, we return to the camp for lunch and a few hours of relaxation. In the afternoon, we depart for another safari.

Depart for a full-day safari to the Moremi area. Along the way, you'll notice that the vegetation between Savuti and Moremi is markedly different: the former is more savannah-like, while the latter has more tall trees.   Moremi is located on the southwest side of Chobe National Park, at the gateway to the Okavango Delta, the second largest inland river delta in the world after the Inland Niger Delta, and one of the most unusual ecosystems on the planet. It is formed by the Okavango River, which originates in Angola. Moremi covers an area of approximately 5,000 square kilometers with a highly diverse ecosystem, ranging from mopane woodlands to acacia forests. Thirty percent of the reserve is dry land, while 70% lies within the Okavango Delta. Moremi Wildlife: Over 450 bird species and a wide range of wildlife, including buffalo, giraffe, lion, leopard, cheetah, hyena, jackal, zebra, gazelle, wild dog, and many others.   Arrival at the camp is scheduled for early afternoon. You'll have a couple of hours to relax before departing for a late afternoon safari in the Khwai area, a prime spot for leopard spotting. Dinner will be served upon return to camp.

This was your last night in the mobile tented camp. Today, you'll travel south toward Maun to the southeast side of the Okavango Delta. Your destination is Crocodile Camp Safari & Spa, located along the banks of the Thamalakane River. The rest of the day is free to relax or go spotting the hippos and crocodiles that inhabit the Thamalakane River.

Your guide will pick you up at the lodge and accompany you to the dock where you will depart on a mokoro, a typical flat-bottomed boat of the delta, for a spectacular day in the canals of this unique and spectacular ecosystem. Lunch will be served on one of the delta's islands. During the day, you will go on a walking excursion accompanied by our guides in search of the animals that live in this part of the delta. Return to the lodge around 4:00 PM.   *Recommended excursion (not included in the price and must be booked in advance): Scenic flight over the Okavango Delta by plane or helicopter, subject to availability. Takeoff from the small airport in Maun and a flight over the southern part of the Delta. The flight lasts approximately 45 minutes.

Depending on your flight schedule, transfer to Maun Airport in time for your return flight to Europe.
