Itinerary

Arrival in Kasane, meet with the driver, and transfer to Kwalape Lodge. The village of Kasane is situated on the Zambezi River at the doorstep of Chobe National Park, bordering Zimbabwe, Namibia, and Zambia. Often, impalas, elephants, buffaloes, warthogs, hyenas, and other animals from Chobe Park can be spotted along the village streets as they come to drink from the river. Dinner at the lodge or one of the restaurants in Kasane. We recommend The Old House. Accommodation: Kwalape Lodge (or similar based on availability) -- Overnight includes: Breakfast

At 7:00 am, meet in the reception area with our local guide and depart for a visit to Victoria Falls. The guide will accompany you to the falls, assisting you in crossing the Zimbabwean border quickly and being with you throughout the day. Transportation and lunch are included in the price. *Visa fee payable on site, around $80 USD. At the falls, you can engage in various activities such as lion walks, helicopter panoramic flights, and bungee jumping—all activities that can be arranged through your guide. Therefore, if you wish to participate in any of these activities, remember to inform the guide the evening before. Return to the lodge is expected in the late afternoon. Accommodation: Kwalape Lodge (or similar based on availability) -- Overnight includes: Breakfast

Early morning wake-up, departure by 5:30 am for a safari in Chobe National Park with the ranger aboard a special open 4x4 vehicle. The safari lasts about 4 hours, and the return to the lodge is scheduled around 10:00 am. After lunch, transfer to the AVIS/HERTZ office at the airport to pick up your car. At 3:00 pm (confirm the time with the reception), depart for the afternoon safari, again accompanied by the ranger in the open jeep. Accommodation: Kwalape Lodge (or similar based on availability) -- Overnight includes: Breakfast

At 6:00 am, meet your guide in the reception area and depart for Chobe with your own car (remember to order a take-away breakfast the previous evening). The ranger will act as your guide, but you will drive your own car, allowing you to experience driving on the sand tracks amidst the wildlife, guided by an expert in these terrains. There are numerous trails in Chobe NP; we recommend staying near the river, where you're likely to spot large herds of elephants, buffaloes, and lions. Return to the lodge around 11:00 am. At 2:30 pm, meet a representative from our local partners in the reception area and depart for a boat safari on the Chobe River until sunset. Sunset is the perfect time for photography, with the unforgettable colors of the African sunset! Accommodation: Kwalape Lodge (or similar based on availability) -- Overnight includes: Breakfast

Today, leave Kasane to reach Gweta. The village of Gweta is along the Nata-Maun route and serves as the gateway to Makgadikgadi National Park. Stop for lunch at Elephant Sand, 55 km before Nata when coming from Kasane. Elephant Sand is the best place to get very close to wild elephants that approach the restaurant to drink water from the natural source at the center of the lodge. *We recommend filling up with diesel in Nata, as the fuel station in Gweta often runs out of fuel! Accommodation: Gweta Lodge (or similar based on availability) -- Overnight includes: Breakfast

Wake up early for an excursion to Makgadikgadi National Park with the lodge's car and guide. This park is relatively unknown but absolutely marvelous. In November and February, there's a zebra migration, with nearly 250,000 zebras gathering in the park. This is a lesser-known destination to mass tourism. Return to Gweta. Accommodation: Gweta Lodge (or similar based on availability) -- Overnight includes: Breakfast

Breakfast and departure with the lodge's ranger for an excursion to Ntwete Pan—an incredible expanse of sand and salt south of Makgadikgadi National Park, part of the Makgadikgadi pans. Within these salt expanses, you'll find various Baobabs, some of the oldest Baobabs in Botswana, over 1,000 years old. Departure at 7:30 am and return by 3:30 pm, with a packed lunch organized by the lodge. You'll visit the Green's and Chapman's Baobab, used as orientation points during pan crossings by explorers such as James Chapman and David Livingston. Return to Gweta Lodge for dinner. Accommodation: Gweta Lodge (or similar based on availability) -- Overnight includes: Breakfast

Breakfast and departure for Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta. Morning rest and visit to local craft markets. In the afternoon, relax or take a flight over the Okavango Delta by plane (not included in the package). There are two daily flights, one in the morning and one in the afternoon; I strongly recommend the afternoon flight. Overnight at Crocodile Camp. Accommodation: Crocodile Camp (or similar based on availability) -- Overnight includes: Breakfast

At 8:00 am, meet in the reception area with the guide and depart from the lodge for the Okavango Delta for the "1 day Chiefs Island boat trip." The day is dedicated to exploring this part of the delta by Mokoro (the typical local canoe) and on foot for some stretches. During the day, you'll make multiple stops for rest and lunch. The route of this activity varies based on the amount of water in the delta. You'll be immersed in the silence of this enormous estuary, connecting with African nature. Lunch is included during the excursion. *Don't forget high SPF sunscreen! Accommodation: Crocodile Camp (or similar based on availability) -- Overnight includes: Breakfast

Breakfast and departure for a self-drive visit to Moremi Nature Reserve. The reserve is located in the Okavango Delta and is considered one of the most beautiful and beloved reserves in southern Africa. Packed lunch. Due to the delta's unique vegetation and incredible terrain, this region of Botswana has a distinct landscape. Return to your lodge in the late afternoon. Accommodation: Crocodile Camp (or similar based on availability) -- Overnight includes: Breakfast

Breakfast, transfer to the airport in time to return the car, and departure for Johannesburg. Gate change and flight for your return to your countryaly.

Botswana is an incredible country, and the journey was extraordinary!!! The agency took care of us in an impeccable and attentive way, and the guides are extremely knowledgeable. I traveled with my 10-year-old son, and they took care of him at every moment, cooking his favorite foods, reassuring him, and providing him with unique experiences. Our hearts remained there...
